  • About Me

    I've worked with kids in various capacities for about 15 years. I spent years babysitting, working at summer camps and designing and leading programs for non-profits before becoming an Elementary School Teacher (French Immersion). I have now been teaching for 6 years in Delta and, for a while, North Vancouver. Most of my teaching experience is in the grades 3-5 level but I have also taught Kindergarten and grade 7 and subbed everything in between. While I have never cared for a baby, I am soon to become an aunt and very much looking forward to it.

    I like to go for hikes, bike rides, trips to the beach, walks along the dyke, visit animals, paint or draw, play games, bake treats and listen to music. I also adore reading both by myself and with kids. I have a cat who I absolutely adore and I lease a horse, so I'm a definite animal lover.

    I have occasional use of a car but prefer to walk or bike when possible. I have a valid and clean driving record. I can provide a recent criminal records check. I have completed First Aid Level 1 and Food Safe Level 1.
