I am a twenty-three year old female. I was born in Ontario and have lived in Montreal since a young age. This past May, I graduated from Bishop’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. My interests include: reading, drawing, music, writing, and travelling. My spoken languages are both English and French.
Since the age of thirteen, I have been babysitting for various families in my local community. When in a position of child care, I conduct myself with the utmost professionalism. I am an outgoing and enthusiastic individual. I have lots of energy and have plenty of experience dealing with children of different energy levels. I relate easily to young people and find I have no difficulty in engaging with various children. I am punctual and dedicated to ensuring the utmost success in any opportunity I am given.
For five years, I worked as a lifeguard at a community pool in Beaconsfield, Quebec. While in this position, I was exposed to many different aspects of child care. When supervising children, safety is always my number one priority. I ensure that the environment I create is exciting, as well as, safe for everyone involved. While working at Malcolm-Knox Aquatic Centre in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, I had the privilege of working with children who were affected by physical and cognitive disabilities. I held this position for four years and found this experience extremely rewarding.
