I am presently a vocal performance major at Acadia University in Nova Scotia. I am looking for full time or part-time summer nanny/child care work in Wolfville, (May through to mid-August), and part-time during the school year. I am your child's dream nanny - I love children and have run an after-school day care since I was 12. I included nature walks, picnics, crafts (sewing, knitting, crochet, drawing, perler beads, painting..pretty much everything.) music (instruction and just having fun.) I play the ukelele and piano - do your kids want to learn? I am also a vocal instructor and dance teacher/choreographer (tap, musical theatre). My most recent experience has been to write, produce and direct an award-winning children's musical at a local community theatre. I also produced it as a two-week summer camp last year (and will need the last two weeks of August off to do it again this year.) I especially love playing imaginary games and acting out stories with children. I have my CPR course and a police check. I am willing to do light housekeeping. I prefer working with children ages 3 to 12 but am comfortable with babies. I prefer day work. Even though I am only available for 3 1/2 months full-time, it would be like having a built-in summer camp for your kids.
