Hi. My name is Raaven and I am looking for either a part-time or full-time position in child care. I will be continuing the early childhood education program at Durham College in September and I want to gain as much different type of experiences as I can in the mean time. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher for grades 1-3. I am a family oriented person who loves children. I am the oldest of 3 children and the bond that I have with my younger siblings is unbreakable. I am constantly assisting my mother care for them by taking them to practices on a regular basis, helping out with homework, bath and bedtimes, cleanups after play time, meals and anything else I can do to help out. I am also a mother of a beautiful baby girl who is now 2 years old, and I am enjoying every step of motherhood. I took co-op for 3 years in an elementary school while in high school. For my 3rd year I did full day co-op for the entire year and I loved it. Even now that I am graduated, I occasionally go and visit or volunteer with the children and the teachers who I worked.
