Hi all,
My name is Paige and I am a Queen's University student studying Kinesiology (class of 2015). I intend to further my education in the healthcare field. I am well-certified in first and and CPR, and have extensive experience working as a healthcare provider (student trainer for the Queen's football team). I love working with children and would be thrilled to have an opportunity to help kids grow and develop into young, successful individuals.
Beginning at a young age, my commitment and dedication to employers and team members has been evident. I have always had a keen passion for working with people, and this passion is driving my desire for a career in the healthcare field. In my past four years at Queen’s, these aspects of my personality have been enriched through a myriad of volunteer experience requiring collaborative projects amongst coworkers. The educational and volunteer opportunities provided by the Queen’s Kinesiology program have prepared me to work hard and effectively within a team setting as well as independently.
I have over 9 years of experience babysitting, and 4 years of experience working with children at an overnight summer camp (Camp Wabanaki). I have volunteered in many other paediatric programs, and really love working with children. I pride myself on being able to work effectively with children independently and in a group. I am excited at the prospect to applying my skills and experience to become a nanny for a welcoming family.
