I am a University student trying to find work for the summer. I have 7 younger siblings ranging from the ages of 1-16 so, I have lots of childcare experience. I also babysit occasionally for family members and friends.
More about myself, I do not drink or smoke. I am completely sober. I do not party, or hang out with toxic people. I have a very supportive family and great friends.
I have my Emergency First-Aid and CPR certification, Mental Health First-Aid Training, a Valid Drivers' License (but no vehicle). I also have professional experience working with youth ages 14-21 as part of a mentorship program.
Cooking is probably my most favourite thing to do. I love to cook. I love using herbs and spices. I believe that food is medicine and we really are what we eat. So, I try to eat as naturally as possible on a whole food diet. I do not eat meat very much except for wild game such as bison and fish. I do not eat pork at all.
Another hobby/interest would be crafts. I love to make things. I taught myself how to sew by hand and I recently bought a sewing machine. I love to paint, I am not very good but I love to do it anyway. I also just recently taught myself how to embroider so I started embroidering cards for special people in my life. I also know how to macramé a little.
I also love to read. I read all the time. I love reading with my siblings. When I visit they always bring their books to me. The older ones always talk to me about what they're reading. Reading is an important thing in our family.
