I am a 18 year old student nurse with a passion for older adult and child care. I have extensive CPR/First Aid training, an updated Food Handlers Certificate, and multiple lifesaving/lifeguard certificates. I have completed and obtained my GED in 2014 and have continued on to university to study the art and science of nursing. My previous job experience includes a 6 week clinical placement at a geriatrics unit in Lakeridge Health Whitby and a 3 year employment period with Hunan Chinese Restaurant. My hobbies include volleyball, tennis, kayaking, rock-climbing, slack lining, juggling and yoga. Throughout high school, I continuously assisted my mother, Laura, who is an early childhood educator, in preparing and organizing class room activities for her kindergarten class. I have also taken care of my younger sister for months at a time as we visited family in Romania over the past summers. I believe that I can be a positive role model and an excellent care-taker/babysitter to any child of any age.
