Hello. My name is Sorina and I am currently finishing my second year of Kindergarten/Elementary Education at McGill University. I am a caring, dedicated, responsible student with a passion for helping those in need, and a love of children.
I was born in Romania but moved to Toronto, ON with my family at the age of six. I now have the pleasure of calling Montreal home for the next three years, as I work towards my bachelor's degree. That being said, I am fluent in English and Romanian, and I have an elementary knowledge of French.
I am an only child, but I have always wanted siblings. I do however, have a 5 year old god brother, and two older god sisters. I am very close with my parents and have strong family values.
For the last five years, I have taught senior-kindergarten children how to read, write and speak Romanian and perform basic arithmetic as a teacher's assistant in an international languages program. Last summer, I was a senior day camp counselor in Toronto for children ages 2 to 4. I also have previous babysitting experience with neighbours and family.
