My name is Verma, 44 yrs old having 3 children ages 12, 13, 14 (2 girls and 1 boy). I graduated in the Philippines with the degree of Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1991. After graduation, I volunteered as an assistant nurse and simultaneously worked as a part time Private Nurse. in different hospital in the Philippines. My ambition to work as a nurse and serve people at all ages did not stop but instead, I decided to go abroad particularly in North Africa and continue giving love and care to the sick people.
I came to Canada with my own family as Permanent Immigrant in 2012 and presently working as a Care Aide. My Canadian experience includes dealing with senior clients who has medical problems like MS, dementia, Alzheimer, COPD and some companionship only. Though I don't have any work experience as Nanny, my experience working as a nurse in the Pediatric ward in the hospital and how I rared my children to be very good and healthy are my best asset as a good caregiver.
My hobbies and interests include cooking/ baking cakes, playing badminton and volleyball, scrabble and chess. I love singing, playing guitar and dancing. I like going out with friends for a walk/jogging and spent most of the time shopping which mostly women does. As to my personal characteristics, I am that kind of person who is hardworking, fast learner, patience and easy to acquaint with.
