Hi there! Well to start, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a graduate from Western University who is pursuing optometry school in the fall. I was born and raised in London, Ontario and am very familiar with the city and all it has to offer. I am a very active person, I love exercising and going outside for a hike or swim. Contrary to that, I also love curling up with a good book and crocheting. I don't know if it is because I was the oldest child and started baby-sitting my brothers from a young age but I really enjoy caring for children. I love preparing games and activities to complete with kids. I have lots of experience caring for family members such as my brothers and now my young cousins but I also have 5+ years of volunteer and paid caring experience. My volunteering includes being a classroom assistant in a London public school for two years and serving as a Sunday School teacher and nursery helper in my local church. My paid experience was with the City of London where I worked as a Day Camp counselor for three years. Through these experiences I have gained a thorough understanding of how to care for children from ages 3-12.
