I graduated from university in Japan, and I am currently taking the Training for Foreign Caregivers at TLC Edmonton. The 7 months program prepares me to work as a Nanny in Canada. I am learning about Nutrition, Cooking, Safety, First Aid/CPR, Communication, Child Development, and about how to support young children throughout the important years of childhood. The classroom based training includes a volunteer experience in the childcare program at the Bissell Centre, where I participate in the care of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I am interested in health and nutrition. I like to go swimming once a week, and go for walks. I also like cleaning, cooking, and managing a household. I am opened-mind and friendly and I like traveling; I enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and their cultures. I also like to learn other languages: my English is advanced and Japanese is my first language. I lived in B. C. for 2 years, in Edmonton for 7 months and the U. K. for a year. While I would love to find a Nanny position in Toronto, I am willing to relocate to any city in Canada, depending on the location of my prospective employer.
