Hello. My name is Cassandra and I am an enthusiastic, 20 year old, second year Therapeutic Recreation Student. I am seeking a casual/part-time position for the Summer of 2015 and am available from May 1st through to Labour Day. I absolutely love children and would like to gain more experience working with them. I have previous experience with children. The past couple of years I have provided childcare for my 6 year old step-brother. In 2013 I volunteered in South Africa at a pre-school with children aged 3-5 as well as for an after-school sports program for elementary school students. Last Summer I worked at a campground where I led the children's program. My duties included planning and leading crafts, games and outdoor activities for children aged anywhere from 1-12. This past school year I have been volunteering for the SCRI society which is a place for special needs teenagers and young adults to hangout. My role is to plan and lead recreational activities. My hobbies and interests include hiking, running, reading and I love the outdoors.
