Hello, my name is Anastasia. I have been working with children for over 5 years. I went abroad to Japan and studied there for a year in High-school. I came back to Canada to finish my schooling, then set out for another year teaching English to children in Japan. I taught children in Japan for a year, then came home to study Earl childhood education. After graduating at the university of the fraser valley, I started looking for jobs at preschool.
I worked as a child-minder in an English school for a year. Unfortunately, the school lost funding from the government and had to shut down.
I then found a job at a preschool. I have been teaching preschool and Jr. Kindergarten for the last 2 years. I love working with children, it is a passion of mine. I was responsible for creating a safe, fun and educational environment for 40 children. I planned daily activities according to the children's developmental level and was able to work un-supervised.
I am a very active person. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, and I teach Zumba in the evenings.
