I am a recent graduate of the bachelor of education program at Queen's University and am in the process of becoming OCT certified. I specialized in at-risk youth and developmental exceptionalities during my degree with a number of placements in these areas. I have been working with children for the past 10 years and really enjoy the opportunity to take care of others. As a teacher, it's very important to me to make every moment with your child as engaging and supportive as possible. I am persistently looking for fun and educational possibilities to integrate with your child's own unique interests. Working with children has shown me how to be patient, inclusive, warm, and easy-going. I am particularly good at remaining very calm in stressful situations and making mature, responsible decisions. In my spare time, I really enjoy art, theatre, and performing spoken word poetry. I am also learning sign language and would love to share this with your child.
